Ken didn't come today. He fell on the ice and hurt his shoulder. So, he is taking a few days to recuperate. Hope, however, didn't know that and insisted on staying out in the freezing cold watching and waiting for him to come. Every morning she watches for him, barks when she sees his headlights come around the corner to announce his arrival, and runs to meet him. She just couldn't understand why he wasn't here at his usual time. I finally made her come in when I saw her lifting each paw one by one to try to escape the cold. She limped in with very cold feet!
