Day 50

Yesterday, Jon put on some more Typar; that job is almost completed now. Only the tip top of the gable ends remain. I did some more measuring in the bathroom trying to get the most out of the space we have. Then to Lowe's (again) to look at and measure shower stalls.  We like a couple of the ones they have in stock but the problem is that the on-line reviews for them are terrible. I don't want to buy something that is going to crack and leak. But I also have limited funds. I did find a hydro shower on line for just under $1000.00, about the same price as the tub. It's exactly the size we need and has the benefit of hydro jets. But the questions is do we splurge and spend the extra $500.00 that we can use for something else???? I am not sure what is on the agenda for Ken and Jon today but probably more finishing up and getting ready for the sheet rock. Ken says CMP is coming Tuesday so perhaps by tomorrow evening we will actually have electricity at the Carriage House. In the meantime, Chuck is running wires and putting in electrical boxes.
