Day 49

Ugh. CMP failed the meter installation because it had the wrong type of screws and because the ditch wasn't filled in. Seriously?  We were told to leave the ditch open until they inspected the conduit. Chuck worked until 6pm last night changing the meter over to the one with the regulation type screws. Jon filled in the ditch despite the fact that the ground is frozen. Good old Tessie to the rescue! (Tessie is his Kubota tractor!) It's all done but now the trick is to get CMP back to look at it. Double ugh! With snow in the forecast for Monday, who knows when they will come.  On a more pleasant note, I ordered a soaking tub for the Carriage House today.
