Reflection

The closing on the Rankin Street house will be on Wednesday. I mowed that lawn for the last time today. I will miss the house. It is the place where we raised our children. I have so many memories that were born in that place. However, I am also excited to move into a new part of our lives: retirement for Jon, living the dream he has always had of being a farmer, and for me fulfilling the bargain we made 16 years ago. I have four degrees largely because of my extremely supportive husband. Now it is time for me to support him, and I gladly do it. So a new chapter begins in the lives of Jon and Cindy.
