Lemons and lemonade

The saying goes, "When life gives your lemons, make lemonade." Today the sale of our Rankin Street house fell through. The bank decided to pull the buyer's loan at the last minute. He is pursuing other options and hopefully by Monday we will know if we have to start from zero again or if he will be able to buy the house. However, in the meantime, the foundation for our Carriage House is finished. We are very happy with it and will go ahead with beginning construction on Monday. We remember when we were buying the Liberty property that we went through a lot of ups and downs but ultimately we prevailed and were able to close on the property. We hope the same thing happens with our Rankin Street house. Our buyer wants it as badly as we wanted the Liberty property. So we will wait and see.
